Onlsow Parade, Belfast
This project began with a familiar feeling; a home that functioned, but no longer quite fit the way family life was evolving.
The aim wasn’t simply to add space, but to improve how the ground floor flows and feels more connected throughout.
The extension opens the house to the garden through maximised glazing, while a contemporary roof lantern draws soft, natural light deep into the plan.
Internally, the layout was carefully rebalanced so the kitchen, dining, and living areas sit together but still feel defined. Movement through the space is simple and intuitive.
Materials are consistent and reflect the client’s personal style. Soft toned walls, functional tiled flooring, and feature joinery create a calm backdrop, with subtle brass detailing adding warmth.
The result is a home that feels more open, more settled, and comfortable to live in.
