Yes. Planning applications are carefully prepared and managed from initial feasibility
through to submission and approval. I’ll assess local planning policy, advise on the most appropriate approach, and guide you through the process clearly so you understand each step.
I can also procure quotations and manage input for consultants where required such as surveying, structural engineering, ecology or acoustics.

I will review your property or land, assess planning policy and context, and advise on whether redevelopment may be possible whilst taking into consideration your ideal outcomes. Achieving clarity before you commit is key.

Margin focuses on architectural design and planning permission. Construction drawings, management and on-site supervision are not part of the core service. What Margin will do is design with buildability, budget and structural integrity in mind from the start so that as the project moves into technical design stages the process is more seamless and ultimately achievable.

Timescales vary depending on the type of project and the local authority. I’ll outline realistic timelines early on so expectations are clear but most importantly I’ll keep you well informed through regular updates as to progress.
-
Fees are based on the scope and complexity of the project. After an initial discussion, I’ll provide a clear proposal outlining what is included, so you understand exactly what to expect.
